Hi, I'm Anthony
I live in Austin, Texas. I build websites for a living, and I love cars. For the last year and a half I have been working around used cars and auctions, and I spend a lot of time researching: recalls, owner complaints, title rules, what a fair deal looks like. This blog is where I write all of that down so you don't have to dig for it.
I know a lot of people in the car business. If you need help choosing a car, checking one you found, or just want a second opinion, send me a message. It's free. I don't sell cars and I don't earn a commission on yours.

What you will find here
- Car reviews, comparisons and Top 10 lists built on public data (NHTSA recalls, complaints and crash ratings, EPA fuel economy, manufacturer specs).
- Step-by-step guides to Texas title, sales tax, registration, inspection and emissions, each linked to the official source.
- Guides for rideshare drivers, auctions, saving gas and taking care of a car in Texas heat.
- Local guides for every city and part of town from Austin to San Antonio.
How I check facts
Texas rules come from TxDMV, Texas DPS, TCEQ, the Texas Comptroller, the Texas statutes and county tax offices. Vehicle data comes from the NHTSA public API. If I can't confirm something on an official source, it doesn't go on the site. I don't publish made-up reviews or testimonials: when a page says what owners report, that is complaints filed with NHTSA, and the page says so.
Good to know
This blog is educational. I don't sell, broker or arrange the sale of vehicles in Texas, and nothing here is legal, tax or financing advice. Rules change, so confirm with the office named in each source.
